There’s an ecstasy in pulling someone close—dangerously close. The kind of closeness that promises a whole life: shared dreams, a sleek European car, a well-groomed dog, biodegradable bags for its mess, and the picture-perfect scene of growing old and dying in each other’s arms.
And then—shatter it all.
“I don’t want you.”
“I don’t love you.”
“How could someone like you ever think they could be with someone like me?”
It’s the brain orgasm of power—a surge of electric chaos over a vulnerable, now-broken human. Most deny it, of course. They cling to appearances, pretending they’re not built for destruction, not wired to manipulate. But deep down, every human is an animal, dripping with a taste for emotional murder, just barely tamed by the thin veil of civilisation.
And the rare ones—the outliers—they admit it. They savour it. They revel in the sweet, twisted art of it all.
Because what is life without destruction? Without the beautiful chaos that makes everything worth savouring? A painting is nothing without a dash of dark, a smudge of pain, a touch of emotional annihilation.
